Hollywood Beach, FL

Lexie and Danny are such a special couple. Their wedding is one that I will always remember because of all the beautiful emotions that took place throughout the entire day. As high school sweethearts, Lexie, Danny and the rest of their family were overwhelmed with excitement for this event. Over the day there were lots of tears of joy shared between the families, even I caught myself tearing up a few times. Several special moment happened while Lexie was getting ready. First, Lexie’s groom-to-be had his best-man delivered a vase of roses along with beautiful diamond earrings for his bride. The most memorable moment for me was when Lexie’s grandmother passed on to her the necklace of her mother (Lexie’s great-grandmother). You can see from the photograph how moving this moment was for the family when Lexie’s grandmother place the jewelry around her granddaughter’s neck . The ceremony, which took place at the St. Bonaventure Catholic Church was another emotional celebration as the couple exchanged vows in front of family and friends. You could just feel the excitement. I thought that the crowd was going to break out in a loud applause when Lexie walked down the aisle. The reception/dance took place at the Hollywood Beach Marriot. As always, I am a sucker for the father-daughter dance, which was very heartwarming to photograph. However the loving tears didn’t stop there, and continued to the mother-son dance and onto the toast. The cake was also sentimental, because the cake topper was passed on from two-generations. Lexie’s mother and Lexie’s grandmother both used the same cake-topper on their wedding cake. It truly was such a pleasure working with this couple and their families. It is always such an honor to be a part of intimate occasions like Lexie and Danny’s wedding. The two have a bright future ahead of them, as Danny was recently contract to play baseball for the Toronto Blue Jays, but more importantly because of the overwhelming love and support that the couple has amongst their family and friends.
